Tutorial Tuesday- Tri Shutter Cards

Tutorial Tuesday is here again! This week I will be showing you all how to make the Tri Shutter cards.

You will need:
Score Board.
5 1/2in X 12in Piece of Cardstock
Paper cutter
Any embellishment.
-I precut all my paper for the background before hand.

1) You are going to score your paper horizontally, You are going to score at 2inches, 4 inches, 8 inches, and 10 inches.

2) Then you want to turn your paper so its vertical and You want to use you paper cutter and cut at the 1 1/2 inch mark. You will be cutting between the first and last score. (You will not be cutting your whole sheet of paper. The you are going to do the same thing for the other side of the paper. You will then have a two slits on your paper and it will look like this:

3) You are going to mountain valley fold at your scores. Once done you then take the middle part of your card and fold it the opposite.

This is what it will look like folded.

And you are all done with your card base! Its that simple. I then took my pre cut backgrounds and adhered them to the card and placed my happy birthday stamps in there place. I am not going to show you the finished product just yet. Since the person this is made for reads my blog now. I will have a special post for it closer to her Birthday!

If you have any questions feel free to ask! I will be more than happy to answer them the best way possible. As always share your own creations! I would love to see them! And remember if there is something you would like me to make a tutorial on just let me know HERE and I will work on one for you!

I hope you all enjoyed your tutorial for the day!
Until Next Time! :)
