Happy last day of May!!! It is hard to believe that May is over and June will be here and we will be halfway through the year already. I am already thinking about Christmas and Christmas gifts! :) I think that I will be going a Christmas in July theme for the blog and show everyone how to make different Christmas items like cards (which I start to make
I had to go return a set of dew drops yesterday because I realized I had all of them except one. While I was out I decided to head over to JoAnns since I was out that way.
I was so happy I did. They had there stamps 50% off again. I got another dew drop set. I am slowly working my way to having them all. They also had there paper 50% off, I stocked up on a couple of the patterns that I had been running low on. I also found that they had some of their Disney Paper marked down to .25!!!! I decided to stock up on those as well. I got to the check outs, all of the Disney paper rang up at .10!!!! What a steal! I was so excited. I already thought I was getting a great deal! I ended up spending less then the dew drop set cost normal price! I love my deal days!!! I am hoping that I will be able to find some more this weekend when I go out again. I am on the hunt for some acetate paper, for a tutorial I am working on!
Remember if you have something you want to try but dont have the time or the materials to see if it will work just let me know and I will try it out for you!
Until Next Time *_*

Looking for a tutorial?
I was playing around last night and I found a way to feature all my tutorials in one place. You can now find them at the top of the page under tutorials.
They will still be in the main posts when I post them and I will always post the like under the tutorial page so that way down the road if you want to bring up a certain tutorial to make, you will be able to find it quick and easy!
I am trying to figure out how to make it bigger without making all the font bigger. If anyone knows how to do this please let me know! Thanks!
Here is the link for the page if you want to check it out through this post. It will always be on the top of the page for you guys though!
I will always try to keep you guys up to date and keep the one that I am working on for next week as well. It will say coming soon!
Until Next Time ^_^

Tutorial Tuesday- Tri Shutter Cards
Tutorial Tuesday is here again! This week I will be showing you all how to make the Tri Shutter cards.
You will need:
Score Board.
5 1/2in X 12in Piece of Cardstock
Paper cutter
Any embellishment.
-I precut all my paper for the background before hand.
1) You are going to score your paper horizontally, You are going to score at 2inches, 4 inches, 8 inches, and 10 inches.
2) Then you want to turn your paper so its vertical and You want to use you paper cutter and cut at the 1 1/2 inch mark. You will be cutting between the first and last score. (You will not be cutting your whole sheet of paper. The you are going to do the same thing for the other side of the paper. You will then have a two slits on your paper and it will look like this:
3) You are going to mountain valley fold at your scores. Once done you then take the middle part of your card and fold it the opposite.
This is what it will look like folded.
And you are all done with your card base! Its that simple. I then took my pre cut backgrounds and adhered them to the card and placed my happy birthday stamps in there place. I am not going to show you the finished product just yet. Since the person this is made for reads my blog now. I will have a special post for it closer to her Birthday!
If you have any questions feel free to ask! I will be more than happy to answer them the best way possible. As always share your own creations! I would love to see them! And remember if there is something you would like me to make a tutorial on just let me know HERE and I will work on one for you!
I hope you all enjoyed your tutorial for the day!
Until Next Time! :)

New Toy
Yesterday I took advantage of the 50% off coupon for Michaels! I am excited to announce that I have a brand new toy. I have been researching the pros and cons of tape runners for a while. I am was using the small tombo tape runners.
I couldn't decide between the Glue Glider Pro, or the ATG. I finally decided at the store. lol I went with the..........
ATG. It was a little more expensive than the GGP but the ATG comes with more tape and will last longer. In the end I feel like it will more than pay for itself.
I will be buying a GGP to compare them myself at a later date.
When you buy the refills you get two in them for a total of 72 yards of tape. After I have used it for a while I will be writing a review for it as well. I plan on buying the GGP soon to compare for all you that might be trying to decide if they are worth it.
I am excited to use my new toy tonight since I don't have to work tomorrow! :)
Hope you all enjoyed your memorial day!
Until next time! ^_^

Excited!
Hey guys! I am so excited about my next two Tutorial Tuesdays! I already have one done and ready to go for you! The next one I just tried tonight for the first time and loved it! I am so excited about it I had to share with you all.
This coming Tuesday will be the Tri Shutter Cards. They are super super super easy to make. It just takes a few folds and a few cuts, Nothing complicated at all. :) I can't wait to share how to make it with you all. My theme for these cards will be Birthday! They are going to be given as Birthday cards for my two friends that have Birthdays in the next couple of months!
Next Tuesday I will be making a Waterfall Flip Book/Mini! They are super fun to put together. I was just randomly looking up other tutorials on you tube and this one came up. I thought that looks simple enough that I would be able to share! I made my first one tonight and I wish that I could share how to make it with you right now.
I also wanted to let you all know that in August I will be taking a weeks vacation. Don't know if we are going anywhere special or just getting away. But I will be MIA for at least a week. We will be celebrating our Birthdays. I am hoping to have a tutorial ready before I leave and have it post while I am gone. But if not then we will have to miss a week. :(
I am trying to figure out how to list the tutorials on the side bar so you guys can look through and find all my tutorials quickly and easily.
Well I just wanted to share with you what is coming up, and what is on my mind for the night. I hope you all had a wonderful Saturday night. I hope you all enjoy your Sunday and your holiday on Monday. Sadly enough I have to work. hahah Everyone else gets a three day weekend, but I have to work all three days! Oh well. Such is life. hahaha

.... Now is Found...
What once was lost, now is found!!!!!
I have some exciting news to share! My camera is found!!! :) Someone decided to clean up and just put it in one of my jet max drawers. He couldn't even put it in the one labeled camera! hahahah just threw it in some random drawer. I happened to need something out of that drawer today and it was laying right there!
I was so excited! It feels like Christmas! I figured that I had left it somewhere, like in a store or something after I took a picture, I was so sad. Now I can be happy again, and not have to worry about buying a new one! :)
Here is to the small things in life that make us happy!

Spellbinder Storage
I thought that I would share with you all how I store my Spellbinders and my clear stamps!
Its a super simple and cheap way to store them and you can take them with you where ever you go without them taking up to much space. I got a little 3 ring binder from staples. I got page protectors to fit them and that is about it. I cut down some paper and for the spellbinders I took a small strip of magnet and glued it to the paper and there you have it. You have the perfect size storage for you spellbinders.
I also do this for my clear stamps. I cut the top of the package and tape that to the paper. That way when you take a set of stamps out you will know which sleeve to put them back in if you are combining stamp sets. :)
I just wanted to share with you all how I stored mine. If you guys have easier ways to store yours let me know! I would love to hear how you all store your spellbinders and clear stamps.
I got this idea from someone in a group I am in on Facebook. I can't remember for the life of me who it was. I also can't find the post. :( So if you are the one that posted in the group and shared let me know so I can give you proper credit! :)
Hope you all enjoy your Thursday! ^_^ Until Next Time

Tutorial Tuesday- Post-It and Pen Holder
Happy Tuesday all! Alteast what is left of it. I know I am a little late with Tutorial Tuesday but here it is! Today I will be showing you guys how to make a post-it NOte and Pen Holder. They are super cute and very easy to make. I got the idea from Becky at Hoo Wants To Craft!
I made mine for a few of my friends to add to little gift bags I am making them.
You will need:
Post-It Notes
Small Pen
Piece of Cardstock (I used white)
Any Stamps (to decorate)
MS Scoreboard (anything used for scoring will work)
Tape Runner
1) Your piece of cardstock will be cut to 7 3/8 in by 3 1/4 in. You then You will score it at 3 1/8 in, 3 1/2 in & 3 7/8 in.
2) You fold at your scores. You then fold at the middle score and you make two cuts. This will be for your pen to go in later.
3) You decorate as you would like. I used my background stamp on the whole piece and then I used my distress ink to ink the edges. I then used foam and put my image on the front.
4) You then tape one of the scores down. While keeping the little piece you cut out.
<<<
5) You then use your tape to tape the back of the post-it note. and then tape it to the inside of your new holder. Then you are ready to add your pen! :)
You are then done! :) Congrats you just made a post-it and pen holder! These are the three that I made for my friends.
Until Next Time ^_^

Amazing
Today while I was out I found some amazing deals! :)
I stopped at JoAnns. They have just about everything paper crafting is 50% off!!!!! I was so excited when I got the e-mail. I picked out some more Dew Drops, a new Spellbinder, and some paper for my tri shutter birthday cards for my managers that have birthdays in the next two months. :) I can't wait to give them out! I can't believe that I have them done this early! :) I got a Birthday stamp for half off. I got all this for less than $25.00!!!
The spellbinder itself should have been about that! :) I always love when my total is the amount of one of my items at regular price. Makes you feel like you got an extra great deal. Even though you get deals all the time, this one just feels the greatest! Anyone else agree with me? I went over to Ms and got some Embroidery thread and a tape runner for 40% off... my deals didn't feel as good as my Js deals! But I still have a great day and was able to spend a couple of hours working on my hobby! :)
I finished my project for tutorial Tuesday tomorrow. I used the new TH distress inks! They are so beautiful! I also have next weeks tutorial made as well, I just have to type them all up and I will be set and ready to go. :)
Should be heading to bed now... alarm goes off in about 3 hours for work! :) But I am off at 11am and get the rest of the day to scrap, and work on the Tutorial Tuesday post!
Until Next Time ^_^

Lost!!!!!
Today was the big day with surprise dinner. It went over really well! He was really surprised. It was a GREAT day! Here is a picture of the finished cake! Homemade German Chocolate Cake! :) I love to make it. It tastes so good!
Anyways back to the title, when I was getting ready to go to the dinner and I was looking for my camera. It is no where to be found. :( It wasn't in the last place I left it. I have searched high and low. I have went through all my stuff. I can't find it. I feel like I am going to cry.
While I was out, I was able to stop at Archivers! It was the very first one that I had ever went into! All the way back in 2007!! I haven't been in that one since that date. It was good to go back to that one. It is a lot bigger than the one by me now. I got a few dew drops. I got a couple special sheets of Birthday paper because a special manager at work is having a birthday next month and I want to start on it now so it will be ready.
As I was checking out and the new Tim Holtz distress inks!!! I wanted them so bad but I didn't have my coupon with me. I asked the cashier if there was a coupon out and she said yes it was a 37% one. She then told me that if I wanted the inks that she would over ride it and give me the coupon without having it. :) I was so excited! I saved $7.00!!!!!
Then while I was at Target I just happened to be walking down the isle and what do I see on an end cap. 9 rolls of washi tape for $6.99!!! Amazing! My washi tape collections is slowly growing. :)
They aren't in the package anymore because I used some on my dads gift bag. I didn't have time to take a picture of them in the package but they did come on that roll. I think they were in the kids craft stuff. I think they are called Kids Paper Tape or something like that. SOrry I was in such a big hurry and was trying to find my camera I forgot and then when I got home the package was already thrown out. I will have to look next time I go to Target and let you all know! I am surprised that Kory over there at http://scrapiverse.blogspot.com/ has not found these and posted about them! I know how much he loves his washi tape!
Oh and while I was taking the pictures of my wonderful savings I had a visitor. He had to sniff everything I laid out. I was surprised that I was able to get pictures of the items without him in them! When I went to get his picture he looked away and I couldn't get him to look at me. hahaha It figures.
(sorry the pictures aren't that great, they are from my phone!)
Until Next Time :)

Changes all around.
To celebrate the new URL I have changed the layout. I know I seem to change it a lot but I think I am finally really happy with this one. Its bright like me! :) It also has crowns in it. Its more clean and not as cluttered. I am able control a little more of this one as well. I am super excited about all the changes that have been happening and I am hoping that I will be able to share the rest soon. As soon as everything is complete you all will be the first to know! I promise! :)
In other news I am already working on next weeks tutorial Tuesday. :) I am excited.
I am also working on a Birthday Card for my dad who is turning the big 5-0 this year. I have to have that done by Saturday when I will see him for his Birthday Dinner. Which will be at my favorite restaurant! Red Robin!!!! Yum! (It is also his by the way)
I guess I better get to work on that! I also have to make a homemade German Chocolate cake for him. Its just tradition and I can't break that on his 50th birthday! I love make them though. I don't make them much because the box cake just doesn't taste right when you have made them homemade. I normally only make them about once a year. I make sure that the layers are made big so I have to cut some off to make them even for the cake so I can have my own little pile of leftovers. That will hold me over for a while. If I really feel in a baking mood I will make another one for the year to have all to myself. But that is rare. I normally just bake a regular yellow cake or a batch of cookies!
Well I think that is enough rambling on for tonight! I hope you all had a great day and have an even better day tomorrow! :)
Until Next Time. ^_^

2) After it is cut then you need to score it. You will score the 2 1/2 inch side at 4 1/4 inch. You only score til the cut line. You are only scoring the 2 1/2 inch side. Sorry the picture is a little blurry.
3) You are going to score the 3 inch side. This side you are going to score at 5 different places. You are going to score 1 inch, 2 inch, 3 1/4 inch., 4 1/2 inch, and 6 1/2 inch. You are going to do the same as you did on the other side only score to the cut line. Your paper should look like this when you are done with your scoring.
4) You then start folding. You start with the smaller side and fold. You fold the 3 inch side in a valley mountian style. You start by folding down (making a mountain). When you are done folding your card will look like this :
You are now done with the base and ready to decorate your card. When you set it down it will look like the picture below. They are so cute decorated! You can google for images on other cards. I got this idea for this card from Becky's Blog and then from there I found my tutorial that I followed from Split Coast Stampers. There tutorial is awesome! They also have a video on how to make them if you need further instructions. If you guys have any question feel free to ask and I will be more than happy to answer them for you guys!
Here is the finished card after I decorated mine. Have a Terrific Tuesday!
Until Next Time!
