Tutorial Tuesday- Waterfall Mini

Back again with Tutorial Tuesday! This week we are doing Waterfall Mini Albums.

You will need:
MS Scoreboard
Tape Runner or Glue
Two sheets of 4 1/2" X 4"** cardstock*
One sheet of 4" X 4" cardstock
One sheet of atleast 4" X 6" cardstock (This will be your base***)
Any Embellishments

*The number of sheets you want will depend on how many flaps you want in your mini. For this one I just used 3 flaps for the red, white, and blue theme.
**The size can also change to any size you want it. Just remember that you will always need one that is a 1/2 an inch smaller than the rest. Ex: You wanted a 6 inch Mini with 4 flaps. You would need 3 sheets that are 6 1/5" X 6" and one at 6" X 6". Your base then changes too.
*** For your base it doesn't have to be as wide as your mini but in the ones that I have done I found it best to make it as wide. But if you change the number of flaps you have you will need to change the height. I always make it bigger than needed just in case. Remember you will always need it at least the height of your smallest piece of paper and add a 1/2 an inch for ever flap.

Step One:
You are going to score your bigger pieces on the longer side at 1/2 an inch. (So when folded they will be the same size as your smallest piece.

Step Two:
Take your base and glue down your smallest square to the bottom of the base so it is even with it.

Step Three:
Then you take your folded pieces and you tape or glue the folded part and you will place that at the top of your smallest piece on the base.

Step Four:
You repeat step three with the rest of your pieces. You keep adding them to the top of the base. When you are done it will look like this.

Step Five:
Embellish. For this project I just added paper for now. I am not sure what it will be used for yet so I haven't added anything extra. Here is my finished project:

If you have any questions feel free to ask! I will be more than happy to answer them the best way possible. As always share your own creations! I would love to see them! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial as much as I did making it!

Until Next Time =]

PS: Apparently Blogger doesn't like my pictures for this tutorial... :( I am going to make another one some time this week and try to post those pictures. I hope that you guys can still figure out how to make this without my pictures. The only one that was able to post was the finished product. If you have any questions let me know and I will answer them for you. I hope I explained everything well enough that you all dont need pictures. I know that some still need pictures. So after my shopping trip with my bestie today I will try to make another one to post for you guys. I should atleast have one done by the end of the week for you all! I will repost it to the top so you all can see it and wont have to look though the other posts.

Weekend shopping

I did a little shopping this weekend. I got a couple of things for a project that I will be sharing  sometime this week. I can't wait to share. Its a new way to store TH Distress Inks!!! Best of all it will be portable and I can take it with me when I go to crops or scrapbooking get togethers. (Which I can't wait for).

I bought my first Tim Holtz stamp set. I am excited to use to. I got the one with the Journey saying in it. I dont have it buy me to say the name. When I edit this post to put the picture up  of my shopping finds. Its a little late now. hahahah. They were half off!!! I hope that it won't be a new addiction, lol. I also got more Dew drops. Trying to finish my collection. I am almost done. I am sure that when I do finish the collection I will find something else that I will find something else that I need and have to have.

It never fails, once I finish one thing something else has to take its place. Does this happen to anyone else?

Ok off to bed now. I will share my project with you guys later hopefully tomorrow if not by Thursday. And I will be editing my post tomorrow to post pictures of my new stamps and dew drops.

Until Next Time! ^_^

Stampin' Up?

Hey there all! I hope you had a great first day of June!

Mine was full of work and thinking. Yea yea, I know you all smelled it! lol

Anyways I was thinking about being a Stampin' Up rep. What do you all think? Do you use Stampin' Up? Would you buy from me?

Is anyone a Rep, and can give me details? I work a lot and spend my little time off working on this blog and trying to scrap. I don't know if this is something that I would want to do or not. I am trying to see all the pros and cons. Just trying figure out some things. Does any one know if you have a minimum you have to sell per month/year that type of thing.

If anyone can give me details that would be great.

Thanks

Until Next Time :)
